Attend the NY/NJ Infrastructure Forum of ENR, on September 15 in Manhattan to listen to more updating of the regional project and interact with experts. Details here.
For the Sustainability Award, our experts judged projects based on their sustainability information, which includes the General Sustainability Strategy of the project, the choice of materials, energy savings, etc., as described in a matter of rehearsal. Although important green designations like Leed and well are preferable, are not absolutely critical.
Our judges also considered the good that the project team passed and beyond the requirements of the reference industry in the project presented. Entries that clearly identify the strategies that caused excellent sustainability results were higher than the more general answers.
The judges did not score or vote on the projects presented by their own company.
Sustainability judges were:
Lauren Algiers, National Director of Sustainable Dinet at STV
Jennifer Mahan, associated with Thornton Tomasetti
Nate Russo, project engineer II to AECOM
