Procore Technologies, Inc., on September 22 said that Ajei Gopal will become the second CEO of the Carpinteria, California construction company and a member of the Board of Directors of the company. Gopal will succeed the founder, president and current Chief Executive Officer Tooey Courtemanche, after the public announcement of the financial results of the third quarter of the company, with a scheduled date for the start of November 10. Courtemanche will be based on operational responsibilities and will focus on his role as chairman of the board of directors of the company.
Courtemanche ceded the reins of the company he founded in 2002, had been scheduled since the announcement of March, which also began the search for the new CEO, Gopal.
Gopal has more than 35 years of leading experience of world technology companies and was recently the President and CEO of the Boston Ansys, Inc. Finished Element Analysis Provider, from 2017 to 2025.
Prior to Ansys, Gopal held high leadership positions in Hewlett-Packard, Ca Technologies and Symantec, and served as an operational partner in Silver Lake, an investment in private capital technology.

Courtemanche said that he will remain an active council leader in Procore.
