Aecom Hunt-Turner JV selected $ 2.4 million at Cleveland Browns Stadium

A joint company of Aecom Hunt and Turner Construction has been used as managers of the construction of the new Cleveland Browns Stadium of $ 2.4 million per Haslam Sports Group, owners of the National Football League (NFL) franchise (NFL). Cleveland Browns.

The 67,500 places was designed by HKS as “Super Theater”. Although the capacity will be similar to the current house of Cleveland Browns, also called Huntington Bank Field, he promises that the new design will bring action fans. In addition, it would be able to house a wide range of large -scale events throughout the year, such as the Final Fours NCAA, international football games and concerts for crowds of up to 75,000.

The covered stadium will have a translucent roof to allow natural light on the playing field. The team also claims that it will use a first roof system, with the first long -term roof without a discomfort.

“The new Huntington Bank field represents a new era for the north -East Ohio, and to reimagate what can be a fan experience,” said Jason Kopp, COO in the central region of Aecom Hunt in a statement.

Both Aecom Hunt and Turner Construction have experience in stadium projects in the region, including work with the Browns. Aecom Hunt built the current Browns stadium and the progressive field of Cleveland Guardians. Turner’s past work includes the renovation of the current Browns Stadium and the HSG stadium for the crew, Lower.com Field. The joint company of Turner and Aecom Hunt also brings them together with HKS: the same team that worked on the Sofi Stadium project in Inglewood, Calif.

Local project partners include digeronimo companies and excavated independence. All combined, the team plans that the project will create more than 6,000 construction jobs.

The stadium is planned as the central part of the largest northern economic development initiative -East Ohio, according to the team. In addition to the stadium, Lincoln Property Company will develop a mixed use entertainment district. Phase 1 of mixed use development is expected to be completed by 2029 together with the opening of the new stadium.
