Medina County officials have identified the worker who died in a construction place linked to a future data center near Lytle, Texas. He said that Maurice McGowan, 28, was fatally hit by a truck articulating on October 13. Those who responded to the emergencies arrived at the site, but declared dead at the scene.
The incident took place on the Cinco Cinth -Data Center in Rowan Digital Infrastructure, near San Antonio, which took place on August 7. The development, the first Rowan Hyperscala Campus in Texas, is designed to deliver up to 300 MW of data center capacity and is endorsed with a minimum investment of $ 900 million, according to the firm. Rowan has not announced a completion date.
Turner Construction is general contractor. McGowan was used as a subcontractor, although the subcontracting signature name has not been confirmed. In a statement, Turner said that his staff and doctors at the site responded immediately and the emergency services assumed the arrival, “but the person declared himself dead at the scene.”
Turner said that all work on the site was suspended and collaborated with the authorities of the accident probe. The Health and Health Administration in the work of the United States and the local authorities are investigating.
