ENR New York’s 2026 Legacy Award winner Mavis Wiggins will be featured in the April 2026 issue of ENR East.
Mavis Wiggins, former managing executive and global workplace creative director at New York City-based design firm TPG Architecture, is the recipient of ENR New York’s 2026 Legacy Award. Featured in the April edition of ENR East.
Throughout her professional career spanning more than four decades, Wiggins has been recognized as an influential leader, bold innovator and committed client advocate at her firm. His versatile portfolio includes work in financial services, hospitality, media, entertainment and consumer brands. He applied avant-garde design that respects the unique vision of each client, listening to concerns and satisfying needs to create the ideal space.
During his 14-year tenure at TPG Architecture, his team brought to life countless award-winning spaces in many of New York City’s most iconic towers, including the Seagram Building and One Vanderbilt Tower.
Wiggins’ far-reaching influence has been recognized on numerous occasions, including the 2018 International Interior Design Association Leadership Breakfast and the 2019 Women of Valor Awards in St. Francis Food Pantries Shelters. The following year, she was selected as a Interior designBest Interior Designer: Corporate Interiors.
In 2021, Wiggins was inducted into the College of Fellows, its highest honor for professional members, and in 2022, Interior design‘s Hall of Fame, for contributions to the field of interior design.
Wiggins has used this platform to inspire creativity and innovation in his studio and encourage young minority designers to pursue their career aspirations, something he continues to do in retirement.
