Construction technology maker Hexagon on January 20 launched Hexagon Multivista, a new global brand for its construction and reality capture software and online platform products, including Voyansi, LocLab, Construction Analysis (formerly known as Avvir) and Multivista.

All of these tools are building data or 3D modeling platforms that stayed with the Hexagon brand when the company spun off design tools like BricSys into a new company called Octave last June.

Hexagon said that uniting its construction platform products under one brand will offer a portfolio of integrated services for architecture, engineering, construction and operations.

By bringing together its reality capture, creativity and construction analytics services, Hexagon says customers will be able to move their data from workplace reality capture to 3D digital modeling and automated construction analytics products.

The company added that after years of acquisitions, these products will be better integrated under the Mulitvista banner with a clearer structure that aligns with contractor workflows.

“Construction is constantly moving from isolated tools to more connected ways of working, but many organizations have yet to come up with solutions,” says Luis Pascual, president and CEO of Multivista. “”We have listened to our customers and created a portfolio of services that reflects their needs.”
