Benchmarking Texas and Southeast Design Leaders: ENR’s 2026 Design Firm Ranking highlights architecture and engineering firms shaping the region’s booming construction market. Haskell Co. is among more than 125 companies that have already sent surveys.

ENR Texas & Southeast’s annual Top Design Firms ranking puts architecture and engineering firms in the spotlight as a standout firm in one of the nation’s most competitive and fastest-growing construction markets.

Although the initial submission deadline has passed, late entries are still being accepted on our polls page. For more information, contact Vince Kong at kongv@enr.com or Jack McMackin at mcmackinj@enr.com.

The annual ranking, like ENR’s Prime Contractor and Specialty Contractor lists, gives ENR owners, contractors, talent and other readers a look at listed companies’ market visibility, top markets and recent successes. In addition, many companies use it internally to compare their growth and market position with competitors.

ENR’s Texas and Southeast rankings include design firms doing business in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Puerto Rico. Rankings are based on total regional revenue for design services. Firms will also be ranked by state revenue and, where appropriate, by design discipline.

Here is a preliminary list of respondents to the 2026 Top Design Firms survey for the Texas and Southeast region as of April 14. So far, more than 125 companies have responded to this year’s survey. Last year, ENR Texas & Louisiana’s Top Design Firms ranking included more than 150 firms. See the full rankings, including revenue figures and specialty breakdowns, in the June 8 issue of ENR Texas & Southeast.
