Mortenson helped deliver the $1.15 billion Climate Pledge Arena, previously named ENR Northwest’s Project of the Year and an outstanding example of high-performance, zero-carbon construction.
ENR Northwest has selected Mortenson as its 2026 Contractor of the Year, recognizing the company’s revenue growth, diversified project portfolio and leadership in high-performance construction.
Mortenson reported more than $1.4 billion in revenue in the Western region last year, up 9 percent, with the Pacific Northwest accounting for about two-thirds of the total. Its regional work spans healthcare, energy, higher education, advanced manufacturing, residential development and civic construction.
In Washington and Oregon, Mortenson has completed some of the most prominent projects in the Pacific Northwest, including the Portland Art Museum Rothko Pavilion, Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center and Hillsboro Hops Ballpark in Oregon. The firm has managed multiple projects for the University of Washington, including the Medical Center at Montlake and the Bill & Melinda Gates Center for Computer Science & Engineering.
With nearly 10,000 employees, Mortenson has continued to emphasize safety, continuous improvement, risk management and value for project owners.
