The JCB 3CX Sitemaster is designed to handle a wide range of farm tasks including earthworks, construction projects, ditch cleaning and water pipe installation, making it a versatile addition to any farm or estate.

JCB Sales Managing Director Tim Burnhope said: “JCB’s range of backhoe loaders is already well-received around the world, which is why we have been the global market leader for this product for over 30 years, and the launch of the new 3CX Sitemaster is another milestone.”

The new model is priced from £55,000 or from £271 per week through JCB Finance and is offered in a single well-equipped specification.

The machine features a JCB Stage V 3.0 liter 55 kW (74 hp) engine.

JCB says this engine requires no diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) or exhaust aftertreatment, making it simpler and more cost-effective to run.

Additional features include a 1.0 cubic meter six-in-one shovel with integrated pallet forks, a side-shifting excavator with an extendable arm, seat-mounted servo excavator controls and one-lever servo loader control.

The 3CX Sitemaster also features a ‘Return to Dig’ feature to speed handling cycles, as well as air conditioning, LED work lights and JCB’s LiveLink system for safety and maintenance monitoring.

The cab is designed for comfort and ease of use, with heating, air conditioning and light-touch servo controls for both digging and loading operations.

The backhoe is equipped with single and double auxiliary hydraulic circuits, which allow the use of a wide range of tools.

The loader is compatible with JCB’s QuickHitch system, allowing it to operate common farm implements such as bale tips and grapples.

To enhance versatility, the excavator includes a side shift function and a telescopic arm, which extends its lateral reach from 5.57 meters to 6.57 meters.

This makes it particularly useful for cleaning ditches and other specialized tasks on the farm.

The front loader has a maximum lift capacity of 3.65 tonnes and a lift height of 3.59 meters to the bucket pin.

It also features JCB’s Smooth Ride System (SRS) loader arm suspension for improved load retention and operator comfort when moving.

The machine is powered by a 55kW/74hp 3.0-litre JCB diesel engine, delivering 440Nm of torque.

It meets EU Stage V emissions standards without the need for exhaust after-treatment, further reducing maintenance and service costs.

The engine is combined with a four-speed manual gearbox that allows a maximum travel speed of 40 km/h.

JCB emphasizes the model’s ease of maintenance, with direct access to daily check points, filters and fill points to minimize downtime and reduce total cost of ownership.
