North East Lincolnshire Council is looking for contractors for a four-year capital works framework worth £50m.
The work will include internal and external construction, including repairs, maintenance and rehabilitation, as well as work on new property projects.
It also covers extensions to council-owned assets such as leisure centres, schools and academies.
Equans Services, responsible for the provision of the council’s regeneration and infrastructure services since 2010, manages the framework.
The council said places under the £50m capital works framework would be awarded “based on 100 per cent quality criteria”. Applications are open until November 24.
The framework will run from April 2024 to March 2028.
Equans is contracted to provide regeneration services to the council until June 2025.
The agreement provides for the company to provide property and facility management, including security; architecture, surveying and civil engineering; highway infrastructure and maintenance; building planning and control.
Current capital projects in North East Lincolnshire include the £42m South Humber Industrial Investment Programme, which includes infrastructure projects in the Humber Estuary.
In addition, Grimsby (pictured) has received £20.9m from the Government’s Towns Fund to deliver six projects, including a new public square and improved pedestrian and cycle routes.
