Mechanicsburg, PA, February 1stSt2023 – Groff Tractor & Equipment, a construction equipment dealer, celebrates 65 yearsth year of business, announced today that it has acquired Plasterer Equipment, a John Deere Construction & Forestry distributor with a strong legacy and over 110 years in the industry.
“We intend to operate the newly acquired John Deere business from Plasterer’s current locations and will offer parts, service, sales and rentals through these facilities just as Plasterer has done for the past 110 years,” said Mike Savastio, President and CEO. “These branches will be ‘rebranded’ to become Groff Tractor & Equipment dealerships moving forward.”
The purchase of Plasterer Equipment and its four locations in Lebanon, Bethlehem, Sellersville and Lewisberry will expand Groff Tractor’s footprint to 10 locations throughout Pennsylvania.
“We will continue to support our existing brands from our Mechanicsburg and Ephrata facilities, providing the same exceptional support our customers have come to expect over the past 65 years,” Savastio added.
Groff Tractor & Equipment will remain headquartered in Mechanicsburg, PA, and continue to support premium brands such as Wirtgen Group, CASE, Takeuchi, Rokbak, Liebherr, Toro, Giant, Terramac, Tana, CBI, LaBounty, Etnyre and more.
