Boston-based builder Suffolk appointed Chris Creasey as vice president of the gaming company announced on November 8.
Creasey comes to Suffolk after more than 23 years at Los Angeles-based builder Tutor Perini, where he was a company director, according to his LinkedIn profile.

While at Tutor Perini, he worked on landmark hospitality and gaming projects for Native American and commercial clients, according to the release, including:
- The Pechanga Resort and Casino and the Chumash Casino Resort in California.
- The CityCenter and The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
- The Mohegan Sun Casinos and Resorts.
- The Seminole Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos.
“The gaming and resort sector continues to show signs of significant growth in the coming years, and Suffolk’s commitment to diversification and the gaming industry has positioned us as a major player in this category,” said Pete Tuffo, Chairman of the Suffolk Gaming Division.
The company has built more than $5 billion and 10 million square feet in casino and hotel projects to date, according to the release, including the guitar-shaped 450-foot Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood in Hollywood, Florida. The high-rise project includes more than 2 million square feet on 36 floors of guest rooms and hotel space that includes villas, a casino area and a 6,500-seat entertainment venue.
Suffolk also managed preconstruction and construction services for the 3.2 million square foot Encore Boston Harbor, Agua Caliente Casino Resort and Spa in Rancho Mirage, California, and Chicken Ranch Casino Resort in Jamestown, California.
This is at least the second gaming-related move the company has made this year. In September, Suffolk appointed a former Clark executive Brett Earnest as Executive Vice Presidentwith the oversight of various sectors, including gaming.
