Use construction backhoe
… Dig a hole next to the store!

Some alleged culprits resorted to heavy machinery to carry out their heist… taking a construction backhoe and digging straight into the store.
Check out the wild clip, which was reportedly taken Monday morning at an ampm store in Oakland, CA… the digging rig bursts through the wall, with the store clerk having enough jobs getting out of there before the criminals start the dismantling.
While the store’s glass was bulletproof, it clearly wasn’t backhoe-proof: after clawing through the wall, the machine goes after the ATM inside. Finally, the thieves in question chain the ATM, attached to a truck outside, and make their escape.
Store owner Ali Abdulla he said ABC7 there is “at least $70,000” in damage after the excavation. Ali says he’s frustrated by what happened in his shop, and believes the only way to run a shop in his area these days is to “sleep in your shop and be locked up and loaded with an AK -47 and be ready because the police are not arriving in time.”
He notes, however, that he doesn’t blame the Oakland PD, claiming that there simply aren’t enough cops on the job.
When cops arrived at the scene, the backhoe was still there, but the alleged perpetrators were gone… and the OPD Burglary Unit is asking anyone with information to come forward.
