The leaders and rising stars of the modular building industry will gather again at the World of Modular 2024 in Orlando, FL, March 18-21, hosted by the Modular Building Institute (MBI), the largest trade association in the world for the commercial modular construction industry. .
For more than 40 years, MBI’s annual World of Modular conference and trade show has provided modular industry professionals with a place to network, exchange ideas, learn from experts, discuss issues, showcase new products and receive well-deserved recognition This annual event offers association members and non-members the opportunity to meet peers from around the world for four days of unparalleled business education and development.
“I’ve been to a lot of industry shows,” says Steve Dubin, Western Regional Sales Manager (Residential) for Sika Corporation. “I can say for sure [last year’s 2023 World of Modular] it was the most successful industry show I’ve ever been to in terms of the ROI of building new relationships and following.”
The 2024 conference will return to Orlando’s Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel and Resort, just minutes from Orlando International Airport. The Rosen Shingle Creek was the location of the 2020 World of Modular, Which one—despite affected by the first wave of COVID travel precautions—was one of the MBI’s most attended conferences. Attendance continued to break records in 2022 and 2023; by 2024, MBI expects its highest attendance to date with nearly 2,000 modular industry professionals from around the world.
“We have every expectation that the Rosen will be filled,” says John McMullen, PCM, MBI’s director of marketing. “Entries are running ahead of last year. Booths are filling up faster than last year. All signs point to this being our biggest and best Modular World yet.”
The four-day event will begin on Monday, March 18 with an afternoon of golf, orientation and networking before its formal start at the opening party that evening. The following days will include more networking, grand prize contests and giveaways, marketing and media opportunities, and the MBI 2024 Awards of Distinction Dinner and Ceremony.
In addition to its formal networking opportunities, World of Modular’s world-class conferences and educational sessions provide industry professionals with the latest knowledge in all facets of modular construction. Attendees are immersed in a collaborative space where the brightest minds from around the world come together, share new skills and best practices, find ways to operate more efficiently, and help develop the industry.
