Real Innovation Delivered with Excellence (RIDE) plans to build an electric school bus assembly facility on a 30-acre site in Lancaster. The scope of the project includes the purchase and installation of welding equipment and systems, assembly, painting, parts storage and testing. The equipment will be installed in a 630,000 square meter building that is under construction. The plant will have the capacity to produce 4,000 electric buses a year. FLORIDA
Bauducco Foods Inc. plans to build a commercial bakery and distribution facility on a 72-acre site in the Zephyrhills Municipal Airport Industrial Park. The scope of the two-phase project includes the construction of 402,994 square feet of building space and the purchase and installation of automated conveyors, ovens and equipment for ingredient storage and dispensing, mixing, blending, forming, freezing and packaging. Turner Construction Co. has been selected to offer construction services. Construction is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2024. Phase I, construction of a 96,494-square-foot building, is expected to be completed in 2025 or 2026. Phase II, an additional 306,500 square feet of building space to be completed in 2028 or 2029. RHODE ISLAND
Edesia, a nonprofit organization, plans to expand its specialty food plant at the Quonset Business Park in North Kingstown. The scope of the project includes the construction of a 200,000 square meter building; purchase and installation of stainless steel tanks and piping, automated conveyors and ingredient storage and dispensing equipment and systems, mixing, mixing, cooking, packaging, robotic sorting, racking and palletizing; and purchase of forklifts. Dennis Group has been selected to provide design engineering services for the project. A construction schedule is being developed. The plant produces ready-to-use therapeutic foods.
