A Bristol man has died after the backhoe he was operating went down an embankment on Thursday night. According to Bristol Police, an 80-year-old man was working on Summer Street when the backhoe he was operating overturned and fell approximately 80-100. feet down an embankment. Authorities said the operator, whose identity has not been released, was ejected from the backhoe and pronounced dead at the scene.
