Once home to a law firm, this office space was completely demolished to make way for Tru Fru’s new space in downtown Salt Lake City. The office offers 360-degree panoramic views of downtown and the Wasatch and Oquirrh mountain ranges. Since the owner’s brand features curved letters and elements, the office design mimics this. Radial light fittings complement a curved glass staircase, combined with rounded glass office fronts.
Although the design was significantly over budget, the contractor worked with the team to better align constructability while maintaining the design intent, ultimately bringing the planned renovation within budget.
As work progressed, teams had to ensure that construction activities did not disrupt the activities of a major global real estate company that operated directly above the space. The team also had to carefully coordinate logistics to work with the building’s outdated and unreliable elevator systems.
Crews delivered the new space after six months of construction on time and on budget in March 2025.
