Gas generation rates at both sites are expected to increase over the next 20 to 30 years, so a scalable solution was provided in the form of two desulfurization units installed at each landfill.

The construction team conducted brainstorming sessions and completed a risk analysis to identify potential issues that would affect the safe and timely completion of the project and that would have impacts on neighbors, the environment, operations in course in the dump and the hiring process.
