Yorkshire Water is looking for companies to join two major frameworks worth £2.8 billion.
The frameworks, which will last for up to 10 years, have been designed to support the delivery of the company’s capital investment programme.
The first, worth £1.5 billion, will cover non-infrastructure work across Yorkshire on water and wastewater sites.
The work will be split into two batches, each of which is expected to include between three and six delivery partners.
The first batch, covering complex works, will be worth a total of £1.2bn, with individual projects ranging from £1m to £35m.
The second, related to minor works, includes projects worth between £100,000 and £1 million, with a total value of £300 million.
Successful companies will participate in pre-construction studies and research, as well as design-build schemes and site work.
The initial agreement will be awarded for a period of five years, starting in 2025, with an option to extend for up to five years at Yorkshire Water’s discretion.
In the second round, which is valued at £1.3 billion, the company is looking for companies to join its Storm Overflow Alliance.
Alliance partners will primarily need to provide expertise and support in the design, planning, management and delivery of assets associated with combined sewer overflows, he said.
This will include new assets, renovations, modifications, maintenance and rehabilitation.
Designated companies may also be required to assist in the design, planning, management and delivery of water network extensions, sewer networks and sewer and pump station rehabilitation works.
The alliance is expected to consist of at least one solution design consultant and three contractors.
Yorkshire Water said it envisages awarding a 10-year alliance contract, with the option of a break period after five years.
For both frames, bids must be submitted by August 11.
