Three contractors have signed military construction contracts to close in September.
Turner Construction, Tutor Perini and Granite Construction highlighted project wins for Department of Defense and Homeland Security branches.
The US Air Force selected Turner as part of its $900 million Restoration and Modernization III facility procurement program, according to a news release Wednesday from the New York City-based contractor. The initiative focuses primarily on work at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex, located at Arnold Air Force Base near Tullahoma, Tennessee, according to a March RFP for the project
The program, which selected eight contractors in total, includes mechanical and electrical work, instrumentation, data and control systems, design and construction services, and construction, according to Turner’s announcement. The Air Force will award projects through individual work orders during the procurement period, which runs through September 4, 2034.
Turner said the award is based on his successful delivery of projects through the FARM I and FARM II programs at AEDC. The company supported the restoration, modernization and reconfiguration of the complex’s critical facilities and infrastructure.

A subsidiary of Tutor Perini will also carry out work in the island territory. The Los Angeles-based contractor said in a Sept. 23 press release Black Construction earned $45.2 million contract to rebuild bridges along Route 1 in Guam.
The scope of the project includes the reconstruction of the Laguas Bridge and Asan Culvert on the highway, also known as Marine Corps Drive.
Black will begin work in the coming weeks, with substantial completion expected in early 2029.
Tutor Perini also said in a Sept. 24 press release that an affiliate had won a $43 million contract with the US Coast Guard to work at East Tongue Point in Astoria, Oregon. The project, which will be designed and built by Perini Management Services, includes the construction of a new fixed dock, two floating docks and a new Highland Maintenance Weapons Division cutter support facility.
According to the statement, the works are scheduled to end in May 2029.
