Malta Dynamics is proud to announce several significant updates to our head protection products, which reflect our commitment to safety and innovation. Starting July 1, 2024, all APEX Type 2 hard hats will comply with ANSI Z89.1 and EN12492 classifications, meeting the strictest requirements for placement on construction and industrial sites.

Damian Lang, Managing Director of Malta Dynamics, underlines the importance of this breakthrough, stating: “We’ve been watching what the Europeans are doing to protect their heads for a while now, and while Malta Dynamics was one of the first to offer chinstrap helmets in the US, we’ll never stop making them better and safer for the hundreds of fields workers in our organization and millions around the world.“

In addition to the improved compliance of our APEX helmets, Malta Dynamics is pleased to introduce the APEX helmet. This new product has a Class E electrical rating, meeting the most stringent workplace requirements and reintroducing the sun protection and timeless look of a full brim hard hat. Lang elaborates further: “People are used to hard hats, there is some hesitancy with the look of the helmets, and you have to get the workers to buy in, and then they become your safety cheerleaders. We wanted to develop a product that they enjoy wearing, sometimes a little familiarity goes a long way, and it brings the sunshine out of a worker’s eyes and skin. We are very happy with our new full visor APEX hats.“

Recognizing the expense associated with advanced head protection, Malta Dynamics is also introducing new and lower prices on all safety helmets and APEX helmets. Greg Brown, President of Malta Dynamics, explains: “For these pieces of equipment, most companies are looking at a price difference of $80 or more per worker between a helmet and a safety helmet with advanced ratings. This can be hard to swallow, so we’re making it a little easier with our new prices.“

Starting immediately, all APEX helmets and full visor helmets will be available at a new MSRP of $69.99 each. This 30% price reduction does not require minimum orders and will be available through all authorized distributors and retailers of Malta Dynamics products, as well as through the Malta Dynamics website and toll-free number. Brown adds, “This price reduction is our team’s effort to make it more feasible to work safely. There were many hands involved, as reducing the price without sacrificing quality or safety is an effort, but this puts us well below other big name brands for these hats, and we’re looking forward to seeing our APEX products on the field.”
