Denver-based Haselden Construction has expanded into Big Sky Country.

The contractor announced it Opened an office in Bozeman, Montanato better serve the Rocky Mountain region and deliver construction projects to clients across the state, according to a Sept. 30 press release shared with Construction Dive.

The company, which was founded in 1973 and had revenue of $461 million by 2023, said the move represents a major milestone. The firm already has a wide reach in neighboring Wyoming, as well as in its home state of Colorado.

With this opening, Haselden envisions greater access to the fast-growing Montana market, where an increase in jobs in the technology industry Since the pandemic has fueled a development boom. It plans to provide pre-construction, construction management, general contracting and design-build services to the region.

“This expansion is part of our ongoing commitment to better serve our customers and grow our business in key markets,” said Byron Haselden, CEO and President of Haselden Construction. “Montana is experiencing significant development and we look forward to playing a critical role in the region’s continued economic growth.”

Haselden is bringing his expertise to bear on several high-profile projects in Colorado, including the W Hotel in Aspen, the University of Colorado Boulder Engineering Center, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, and the recently completed replacement hospital for Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat. Ridge.

The firm says these projects demonstrate its commitment to cutting-edge technology and sustainable solutions. The range of work carried out by the company covers sectors such as health, education, municipal, culture and hospitality.

The new office, known as Haselden Montana Constructors, will be led by President Daniel Bates, a 20-year construction veteran who has been with the company for the past decade and brings deep experience in the preconstruction field.

“We look forward to creating new partnerships and initiatives and enhancing existing structures across the region,” Bates said in the statement.
