The BOISE City Fire Station no. 5 is one of the finalists in the project of the year for the Interountain Best Projects competition. The fire project is also the winner of the Government category/public building.

Enr Mountain States & Southwest has recently announced the main winners of the category for the Best Mountain State Projects competition, which recognizes the best in design and construction in two separate contests: one for projects located in Colorado/Wyoming and one for projects located in the Interouuntain area of ​​Idaho, Montana and Utah. In addition to these awards, the judges selected from all the winners three projects in each subregion as finalists in the project this year. Sustainability and sustainability experts also selected winners for these special awards.

The project winning teams will be recognized in the breakfast programs in Salt Lake City on December 2 and Denver on December 4. Click here for more details about the events and register -Sa a prizes in your area.

In each event we will also recognize other prizes throughout the year, including the owners of the year, the design companies of the year and our contractors of the year.

The finalists of the project 2025 are displayed below in alphabetical order.

Colorado/Wyoming

  • Denver United Airlines International Airport Contest B Gates of the Future, located in Denver. Sent by Swinerton

Interpoint (For projects in Idaho, Montana, Utah)

  • Deseret Peak High School, located in Toolele, Utah. Sent by Hughes’s general contractors
  • Sion’s block improvementslOcat in Vernal, Utah. Sent by BHI

A group of security experts selected excellence in security winners, with a special emphasis on security programs, cultures and results. The judges did not score the projects in which their company worked or any project with which they had a conflict. Our security group judges are:

  • Daniel Milinazzo, Security Director, Hensel Phelps
  • Matt Ogle, Senior Safety Manager, Je Dunn
  • Rick Zellen, Senior Security Director, Holder Construction

Colorado Safety Awards/Wyoming

  • Award Excellence in Security: 1900 Lawrence, located in Denver. Sent by Hensel Phelps
  • Merit Award: Aquatics Center Arvada, located in Arvada, Colo. Sent by Saunders Construction
  • Merit Award: Boulder 63rd Campus Campus Campus Campus Station Electrical & High Service, located in Boulder, Colo. Sent by Weifield Group Contracting

Interountain Safety Awards

  • Security Excellence: Grand Hyatt Deer Valley, located in Park City, Utah. Sent by Jacobsen Construction

Another group of experts selected our excellence in sustainability winners, focusing on projects that exceed the sustainable design and construction goals. Our security group judges are:

  • Jillian Cornelius, project architect, method of methods
  • Kris Kreymborg, construction executive, JHL builders
