ENR is looking for regional design firms and construction firms to submit surveys to rank on its regional list of top design firms and its regional list of prime contractors
Almost 100 companies have already submitted surveys for inclusion in the ENR 2026 Eastern Major Contractors Ranking. Although the submission deadline has passed, there is still time to enter a survey for the list.
Email Justin Rice at ricej@enr.com or Jack McMackin at McMackinj@enr.com if you still plan to submit a survey so we can let you know how much more time you may have to submit it.

ThThe ENR East Contractor Ranking includes companies doing business in Connecticut, Delaware, Washington, DC, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia. The rankings are based on the total regional revenue of the participating companies in the first year. Companies will also be classified by state revenue and various specialties and disciplines, as appropriate.
The survey asks companies if they would like to be considered as a candidate for Regional Contractor of the Year. If your company has positive news to share about company growth, major project announcements or other milestones, this is your chance to tell us about it!
The July 27 issue of ENR East will include features on the 2026 ENR MidAtlantic Contractor of the Year, ENR New England Contractor of the Year and ENR New York Contractor of the Year, whose selection is based on a review of the companies’ 2025 business, project and other achievements.
Read the July 27 print issue of ENR East for the region’s final list of 2026 prime contractor companies. Also find out which company posted the highest revenue in 2025 in the region and in each individual state.
