Contractors using Arrowsight cameras and Zurich risk engineering are seeing reduced claims, reduced EMR and improved jobsite safety. In a three-year pilot and subscription study, Zurich tracked the claims of nine projects with Arrowsight cameras and 12 without during the highest risk phases. Sites equipped with Arrowsight received more than 50% fewer complaints.

How it works:

Smart and robust cameras monitor high-risk areas, without the need for electricity or internet. Video is reviewed daily by qualified engineers, and contractor-integrated Zurich risk engineers spot risky and exemplary safety behaviors and provide hands-on coaching for improvement in real time.

Proven results:

  • The frequency of workers’ compensation claims dropped by more than 50%
  • Experience modification rates (EMRs) were reduced, reducing insurance costs and increasing bid competitiveness
  • Major contractors Skanska, Suffolk, Gilbane and Posillico Civil report significant safety improvements

What industry leaders are saying:

“Our EMR dropped from .65 to .25, helping us keep our equipment safe and costs low.” – Rick Nota, CFO, Posillico

“Zurich Risk Engineers are true partners: we’ve seen 4x fewer claims and 10x fewer losses.” – Doug Ware, Suffolk Construction
