The performance footwear brand’s Manhattan flagship store is a 3,800-square-foot amphitheater-shaped store in SoHo, a second location after its Los Angeles headquarters, that is a testament to craftsmanship and creation meticulous, according to the project team.
The walls are custom handmade clay-based plaster, while the floor is travertine imported from Italy. Custom screens were also imported from Italy, and the walk-in closets, called “vanity cabinets,” feature rare natural onyx stones that span a variety of colors. The rooms are designed to represent each of New York City’s five boroughs, according to the filing.

Project challenges included redesigning the roof support due to an existing terracotta structure, which required extending the completion schedule. The extreme curves and angles of the showroom also required a complex design that included a precise lighting installation under a stretch fabric cover. There were also unforeseen customs delays for crucial millwork.
The seven-month project was completed on budget and on time.
