The $3.9 million phased office fit-out seamlessly integrates new additions with the existing first phase. To minimize disruption to the already occupied first floor, the team scheduled construction activities to minimally interfere with Supernal’s daily activities. To mitigate noise and disruption, temporary walls isolate construction areas. But the team still had to ensure that the finishes integrated with the existing space.

The AV contractor and millwork subcontractor collaborated on extensive AV installations including curved video walls and serpentine AV walls. This involved overcoming initial drawing discrepancies through on-the-spot adjustments. A delayed critical light fixture affected the schedule for a specialist plaster ceiling installation. The team prioritized other tasks to maintain progress, and the fixture was installed in four months, on budget and on schedule.
Design features, particularly the curved video and serpentine audiovisual walls, were critical to the project’s success, the team says.
