After the 2025 tornadoes devastated parts of St. Louis, Austin Davis of Alberici Constructors, (left), coordinated recovery efforts in an initiative organized by the local contracting community.
The 2027 class of ENR Midwest Top Young Professionals has been chosen. The recognition program, organized annually by all Regional Editions of ENR, recognizes young professionals in the sector, all under 40 years of age, who are achieving excellence in their professional lives by exhibiting leadership qualities, professional progress, quick experience and community involvement.
The judges for this year’s contest were all former Top Young Pros. They are: Emily Hyland of HDR, Inc.; Abbas Kachwalla of AECOM; Cavin Berube of Moore Engineering, Nicole Franklin of Bechtel and Shannon Zlab of Hoefer Welker.
Judges were not allowed to judge their own companies’ applications.
