ENR New York is pleased to announce the group of regional winners of this year’s Best Project. This year’s jury awarded 29 projects in 16 main categories.
In addition to the 2024 main category winners listed below, the safety and sustainability awardees for the best projects, which are judged by a separate panel of safety and sustainability experts, will be announced in the free e-newsletter of ENR New York. The finalists for this year’s ENR New York Project of the Year will also be announced soon.

The judges’ selection for this year’s Overall Project of the Year from among the Best Project winners listed below will be announced in the November issue of ENR New York and at the ENR New York Best Projects awards event on November 12

This year’s winning projects in the major categories, which are listed at the bottom of this post, will also be described in depth in the November print issue of ENR New York. All projects were located in New York and New Jersey.
Projects were evaluated based on the project team’s ability to overcome challenges, safety, build/design quality, and contribution to industry and community. Due to the large number of entries, we are only able to name a fraction of the projects submitted each year, so projects that did not win this year can be submitted next year if they are still eligible!
This year’s New York judges for the top categories were Mara Johnston, managing director of Keystone Global and Schillivia Baptiste, president and CEO of Leland Baptiste.
Judges could select any combination of Best Project and Award of Merit category winners. In some categories, the judges decided not to award a category award.
