Housing contractor Real LSE has filed a notice to appoint administrators.

The £19m-turnover company submitted the application to the Companies Tribunal last Friday (September 22), according to CreditSafe.

Real LSE is a subsidiary of Real Group, focused on projects in London and the South East of England. It made a pre-tax profit of £1.5m in the year ending 28 February 2022.

Real Group launched in early 2021 following the acquisition of the London, South East and South West branches of Rydon Construction. The group is headed by Paul Nicholls, previously managing director of residential at Wates.

The firm has ongoing contracts with local authorities, housing associations and private clients for the construction of housing-led developments.

Some of Real Group’s current projects in the region include a £138m housing scheme and a £120m mixed-use development, both in west London. The company also reported in its latest accounts that it expected to win additional work through inclusion in eight frames.

Real Group has been contacted for comment.
