The guardian Perini Building Corp. gave the winning hand to renovate and expand a casino in Oklahoma.
Parent company Tutor Perini announced Thursday that the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma tapped the company for a $140 million renovation and expansion of the Choctaw Casino & Resort in Pocola, Oklahoma.
The scope includes interior and exterior renovations to the existing hotel and casino, all dining and gaming venues, and the construction of a new seven-story, 130-room hotel tower. The latter will include a spa, fitness center and pool complex, according to the press release.
TPBC has been working since 2025 in the pre-construction phase of the project; construction is expected to begin during the third quarter, according to the release.
The Los Angeles-based subsidiary of the contractor has had good luck with casino work in the past. Last summer, the company was awarded a $220 million contract for Phase 2 the expansion of the Eagle Mountain Casino near Modesto, California.
