Schimenti, based in Manhattan, registered revenue of $ 164 million in the retail sector in the Top Ranking Contractors of New York in New York, ahead of much larger companies. It attributes its recent success to the completion of 90 more projects, including eight emblematic constructions and its first $ 100 million project, for the sale of French retailer.

Located in One Wall Street, the shop marks the debut in the United States of the Parisian retailer and has a 55,000 -square -meter flagship. Designed by Laura Gonzalez, the shop perfectly combines heritage and innovation with sculptural lighting, hand -painted tiles, warm wooden parquet and imported stone stone. A prominent feature is the restored red room, which retains its original mosaics and 33 -foot ceilings, creating an immersive and multisensory environment. The Printemps Building was a 26 -month project marked by a narrow coordination, global supply and precision crafts. The pre -construction began in December 2022, followed by an early structural phase. Schimenti ceded the white box in September 2024, with the final installation ended in February 2025 before the public inauguration of March. It was delivered as a key to hand project, the scope extended far beyond the typical construction to include lighting, audiovisual systems, personalized furniture, art works and high -end finishes. -

The flagship store brings life to the brand’s minimalist identity through carefully sculpted architecture and a palette of cohesive materials. Rounded transitions, Corian visualization accessories, ultrasuhed walls, and custom light box adaptation rooms create a clean, tonal atmosphere. Integrated digital contact points and a 15 -foot central sculpture by Vanessa Beecroft improve the brand connection with its online roots. Budget considerations and late design documentation delayed the start, while the existing construction infrastructure created complications for the MEP systems. A key obstacle was the re -elaboration of the HVAC design to align with the conditions of the site, which required a close coordination between Schimenti, the owner and the commercial partners. The Schimenti team led a series of design construction efforts, which involved frequent consultations and accelerated calendar with extraordinary hours to fulfill the target holiday opening.
Last year, Schimenti took the 26th place of the Top Enr Contractor’s Contractor Survey in New York with $ 294.25 million in income.
