Ramsay, who joined the company in 1988 as a project engineer, became CEO in 2014. During his tenure at the helm, O’Neil extended his national presence and went on ownership of 100% of employees.

Ramsay will continue to serve the company, which also celebrates its centenary this year, as President of the Council as he begins his transition to retirement, according to a statement.

Finn, formerly the operational manager of the contractor and president of his California region, will enter the role of CEO, according to the company. He has directed the We O’Neil California operations for more than a decade, overseeing the expansion in the San Diego and northern California markets, while contributing to other major projects nationwide.

Finn previously worked on Baltimore’s Whiting-Turner before moving to We O’Neil in 2001, according to his Linkedin profile.
