DPR Construction, a technical builder, has named Kali Bonnell, an industry veteran with more than 14 years of experience, as Atlanta’s first female business unit leader to lead the company’s operations in the city.
Bonell will support DPR teams and lead project execution with a focus on delivering predictable results for clients.
Bonnell began her career in Atlanta as an intern at DPR in 2008, joining as a full-time employee after graduating from Auburn University in 2009. She has grown through the company since then , honing her experience as a project engineer with DPR’s special services group. (SSG), which focuses on small and medium-sized projects such as higher education residences, healthcare renovations and commercial office space. Bonnell traveled to Clemson, South Carolina, and eventually across Florida to take on projects as a senior project manager.
His technical experience in the healthcare field is central to his extensive resume, including his role as project executive for a complex two-story vertical expansion of an existing Florida hospital that used heavy prefab components to finish the smooth project in a worked environment. .
DPR’s Atlanta office’s expertise spans the company’s core markets of healthcare, commercial, higher education, advanced technology and life sciences; and services to prominent clients such as Lincoln Property Company, Cousins, Portman Holdings, Digital Realty, Switch, the University of Georgia, Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), Morehouse, Piedmont Healthcare, and others.
