As Enr Texas and Southeast readers know, the regional publication publishing area was expanded in 2025, joining the already extensive region of Texas and Louisiana with the robust southeast area in a single and massive supergogy that included 11 states as well as Puerto Rico.
At the same time, however, we assure you to cover these thorough robust construction markets and constantly ensuring that each number of Enr Texas and southeast continues to include features and news from the two subregions. And this commitment continues with our annual number of the best projects, which shows the best in design and construction of all this broad landscape, with separate groups of winning projects for each subregion.

Universal Studios’ How to form your Dragon attraction was one of the finalists of this year’s project.

The judged panelists collectively reviewed a total of 18 categories of different projects, ranging from the airport/traffic to the water/environment while evaluating factors such as security, innovation, design execution, craft quality and the benefit of the community or industry.
As always, we brought together separate teams from Judge Teams for both the Texas and Louisiana and South -East, with the numerous panels that review and score all the entries in various categories individually before meeting with their colleagues Judges through a video call to determine the winning projects and their respective levels of award. Projects that bet on the categories of separate prizes in security and excellence in sustainability were judged separately.
