The 530,000 square meter entertainment facility is equipped to host concerts, performing arts, conventions, corporate meetings and live audience productions. At its heart is a 2,200-seat theatre, supported by two 25,000 square meter sound stages, over 120,000 square meters of office and support space with broadcast quality infrastructure, a luxury cinema, a 730-space parking deck and a 51,000 square meter outdoor plaza.
Combining a broadcast-quality theater, multiple soundstages, cinema and public staging spaces under one roof for the $350 million Trilith LIVE created competing structural, acoustic and MEP requirements that had to coexist without compromising performance. Key business partners were involved early through an intensive design assistance process, creating shared ownership of the design.
The building’s fully curved geometry, tight clearances, and exposed systems left no room for error, especially after compressing the structure by about 5 feet to meet site requirements. Advanced 3D coordination solved the resulting routing and alignment challenges.
