Maidstone RCMP are investigating a break-in and theft of a backhoe from a business in Lashburn.

Police received a report Sept. 30 after a John Deere backhoe was stolen from a business at 1 St. East. Investigators believe the robbery happened between 12:15 and 1:55 that day.
RCMP say there were three suspects, two men and one woman. The suspects were reportedly driving a blue car.
Police described the suspects as:
- A man in a black baseball cap, black sweatshirt and black pants.
- A man in a dark hooded jacket and dark pants.
- A woman in a brown jacket, brown overalls, brown work boots, a purple scarf and gloves. He has long brown or black hair with purple streaks.
The stolen backhoe is yellow and black and was driven off the property heading east across Lashburn.
RCMP are asking anyone with dashcam or surveillance footage from the Lashburn area late Sept. 29 or early Sept. 30 to contact police.

Police also clarified that there is a gray car shown in video footage with the female suspect no the suspect vehicle and is not associated with the theft.
