“Whether you’re looking to move, work or invest, the Boise area has a lot to offer,” says Hobbs. “Conditions are strong … and we expect the market to continue to strengthen as we head into 2027.”

Hobbs says the region is entering a new phase of growth, fueled by major corporate expansions, particularly in the fast-scaling technology sector. And while that’s a strong point for the long-term economic outlook, it points to the challenge of finding skilled construction labor in an area where the broader workforce is increasingly technical.
