Prometheus Energetics and the American Center for Manufacturing and Innovation are planning to build a defense and ammunition product manufacturing campus in a 550 -hectare site in Bloomfield. The scope of the project includes the construction of several buildings; and buy and installation of machining, training, welding, load, tests and testing systems and packaging. Construction is expected to begin in the third or fourth quarter of 2025. Prometheus Energetics, a joint company between Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. will use the plant to produce solid, energetic and ammunition rockets for the United States military. Evergy, Inc. It plans to build two electric power plants combined with natural gas in the counties of Sumner and Reno. The areas include the construction of the building space; purchase and erection of structural steel storage and fuel storage; and purchase and installation of turbine and gas generators, heat vapor generators, steam turbines and generator sets, water treatment and storage systems, cooling towers, transformers, switching control equipment and emissions. Each plant will have the ability to generate 705 MW of electricity. A company will be selected to provide engineering, contracting and designing services in the second quarter of 2025. It is expected that the construction of the Sumner County plant will begin in mid -2016 and the Reno County plant in mid -2017. First Quality Enterprises, Inc. It plans to build a paper towel and a fabric plant in a 1,000 hectares in the industrial corridor on Baltimore Avenue. The scope of the phase project includes the design and construction of 1.6 million square meters of building space; Construction of equipment foundation; installation of two paper dried paper machines and conversion lines; and buy and install equipment and systems of winding, handling and packaging.
