JCB India unveiled 10 new construction equipment products at Bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026 in Greater Noida on September 15, with the company’s range of backhoes forming the centerpiece of its 2,000 square meter pavilion at the India Expo Center.
The 10 launches were part of a wider display of 21 machines that included excavators, wheel loaders, access platforms, agricultural equipment and generator sets. All products are designed, engineered and manufactured at JCB India’s six factories in India.
The three new backhoe models—the 3DX, 3DX Plus and 3DX Super—are powered by JCB’s 430 engine that produces 440Nm of torque. The company claims that fuel efficiency in its range of backhoes has improved by 21% over the past few years. The 3DX is positioned for excavation-centric applications. The 3DX Plus adds increased shovel and payload capacity, while the 3DX Super includes standard four-wheel drive, a six-in-1 shovel and deeper digging capability. The Plus and Super variants feature redesigned cabin interiors with a new rotary dial, updated displays, revised seat and mobile charging point.
Among other new launches, the JCB 150 FM excavator offers an 8% improvement in fuel efficiency along with a 0.75m3 bucket and in-cab fuel control. The JCB 225 XT features a wider upper frame, reinforced side doors and a new 1.1m3 bucket which the company says offers 5% more productivity per digging cycle. The JCB 18Z Mini Excavator uses a zero tail turn design with a retractable undercarriage, intended to operate in tight spaces.
The AGRIMAX 4WD tractor, also new, offers clutchless operation and synchronized shuttle transmission. The G160QI CPCB IV genset is designed for applications that require sustained power output; its Intelli Sync technology allows two 160 kVA units to synchronize and provide a combined 320 kVA, with remote monitoring available via JCB LiveLink 4.0. The 475-5 wheel loader is powered by a 320hp Cummins engine with a ZF Ergo II transmission and hydraulic load sensing system.
Rounding out the new launches is the A60E access platform, which is manufactured in India and exported internationally. The United States is the largest export market for JCB India’s range of access platforms.
JCB’s LiveLink platform, also on display at the pavilion, provides real-time machine monitoring, remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance. The company also showcased Parts Online, a digital parts ordering system and training simulator for operator training.
Beyond the 10 new products, the pavilion features a selection of machines from JCB India’s existing range. These include the JCB 81 Eco+ excavator with a 15% improvement in fuel efficiency; the NXT 215 Fuel Master excavator, which uses IntelliFlow hydraulics to achieve 14% more fuel efficiency and a Power Boost feature that provides up to 9% more hydraulic force; and the 345LC HD excavator, powered by a 221 hp JCB ecoMAX engine. Also on display is the 520X LC, JCB India’s first 50 tonne class excavator, rated at 400 HP with a bucket capacity of up to 3.4 m3. Soil counters, telescopic handlers, skid steers and additional mini excavators complete the display.
JCB India operates six manufacturing facilities in India and exports to more than 135 countries. The company’s dealer network includes more than 65 dealers and more than 700 sales points, employing nearly 8,000 people. Its plants in Jaipur and Vadodara feature 34% and 52% women on the shop floor, respectively, figures that the company has highlighted as part of its manufacturing workforce profile.
bauma CONEXPO INDIA is a trade fair for construction machinery, construction material and mining held in India. The 2026 edition is taking place at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida.
