Sondra Rotty

Tarlton, based in St. Louis, has been promoted to director of operations Sondra Rotty in the added role of president. She joined in 2005 as a project engineer and was named director of operations in 2024. Rotty has worked on projects including the renovation of the Old Courthouse for the National Park Service and the Gateway Arch Park Foundation; the expansion of the Olin Business School for the University of Washington in St. Louis; the addition of the East Building to St. Louis Art Museum; and the renovation of 900 Tucker Blvd., the former Post-Dispatch building in St. Louis.

Riley Construction, a construction management and general contracting company with offices in Waukegan, Ill., and Milwaukee, Madison and Kenosha, Wis., has appointed non-family owners to leadership roles for the first time. Ben Kossow now he is CEO, Erin Anderson is president and Eric Dillon is the head of operations. Outgoing CEO Matt Prince is moving into an advisory role as an owner and board member. The executive team also includes Montemurro winsfinancial director; John Delavanvice president of preconstruction and Dave Rileypresident

Michael Webb has been promoted to group director for Boldt Co.’s Michigan operations. based in Detroit. In this role, he also leads operations and supports strategic growth in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio, including expanding the company’s presence in the automotive and industrial sectors.

Steve Donahue

Steve Donahue has joined Hanson Professional Services as vice president and director of technology integration to help the company maximize its use of technology. He was previously president of Horner & Shifrin Inc., a multidisciplinary engineering firm in St. Louis. Hanson, headquartered in Springfield, Illinois, is a national, employee-owned company that provides engineering, planning and related services.

Ruan Love

Architecture and design firm DesignGroup is expanding to Indianapolis and has named Ruan Love as a senior project manager. The company aims to strengthen its presence in the Midwest and serve Indiana’s healthcare, higher education and science and technology sectors. Love previously served as director and healthcare practice leader at Indianapolis-based Meticuous, where he helped oversee Indiana University Health’s $2.3 billion downtown hospital project in partnership with Curis Design. He also helped oversee the 97,000-square-foot renovation of the Health and Hospital Corp. headquarters.

Minneapolis-based Knutson Construction has appointed Mike McMahan as vice president of health care. He leads the firm’s healthcare practice and is expected to play an important role in the growth of the sector. McMahan previously worked at Ryan Cos., Allina Health and the former HealthEast Care System.

Black & Veatch has promoted Donnie Ginn lead the company’s integrated strategic water and environmental solutions business, including services to public agencies and utilities. A 30-year veteran of the water industry, she now oversees strategy, innovation and delivery for industrial water, drinking water, wastewater, environmental solutions, reuse and emerging water challenges, including PFAS substances, also known as forever chemicals.
