Enr Mountain States and Southwest has selected CSHQA de Boise, Idaho, as the Interouuntain design firm of the year. The firm of architecture, engineering, landscape, historical conservation and interior design has been about 136 years and is the oldest design firm in Idaho.
The companies of the year are chosen by a vote of regional ENR publishers from all over the country based on a group of finalists selected carefully. The factors include regional income, new initiatives, current projects, community and industry contributions and other considerations. The area of Interouuntain Enr includes Idaho, Utah and Montana.
CSHQA, a leader in energy efficient and sustainable designs, is an early adopter of predictive modeling and high -end rendering techniques that allow their designers to visualize projects with notable precision and detail. Recent key projects include Hotel Renegade and The Sparrow, two new hotels in the center of Boise; the Air Idaho National Guard Medical Training installation, Gowen Field, Idaho; Housing throughout Spain for the Department of Idaho Parks and Recreation; and Twin Fall County, Theron W. Ward, the remodeling and expansion court building on Twin Falls, Idaho.
