Cheryl Seinfeld has joined the Fort Lauderdale, Florida office of HNTB Corp. as government relations manager for the company’s Southeast division. Seinfeld will focus on government relations and external communications, lead community engagement efforts and support HNTB clients in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area. Seinfeld brings more than 20 years of experience to the position, including running his own government relations consulting firm and serving in gubernatorial-appointed positions in legislative affairs for state agencies, including the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) .

The company has also hired Theresa McClure in Charleston, SC, to the role of national practice consultant and vice president, to which she brings more than 20 years of leadership and strategic communications experience. In his new role, he will focus on road, transit and aerospace transport, including traffic noise, natural resources, socio-cultural issues and arboriculture in urban forests. Keith Evans has joined the Orlando office of Hanson Professional Services Inc. as a construction observer, where you will observe and document construction activities on aviation projects for compliance, coordinate and observe on-site material testing, and coordinate and communicate field construction activities with the owner, contractor, and design engineers. Hanson has also hired Miquel Pérez-Cea as a highway engineer/project manager, based in the firm’s Miami office, helping it expand and supporting its highways and planning group. His experience is primarily in road design, with a strong emphasis on resurfacing, restoration and rehabilitation projects. Previously, he worked as an assistant project engineer for a consulting firm in Miami.
