Macklin Unity and Wilkie RCMP responded to a wide variety of calls this week.
Reports include, but are not limited to, the following:
UNIT REPORTS

RCMP received a report of a suspicious person near a residence in Unity. Members attended, but the subject of the complaint disappeared on arrival.

A boy was found walking alone on the street. The child’s guardian was located.

Police received a report of a breaking and entering at a business in Unity. This matter is still under investigation.

Members received an application to attend a residency with Child and Family Services.

The RCMP received a fraud complaint, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Police received a complaint under the Mental Health Act. Members discussed the subject of the complaint.

Members received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.

The RCMP received a report of theft. This matter is still under investigation.

Members issued a 72-hour roadside suspension during a traffic stop.

Police received a report of a breaking and entering at a business in Denzil. This matter is still under investigation.

Members issued a 21-day roadside suspension during a traffic stop.

The RCMP is investigating an allegation of fraud.

Police received a report of criminal harassment. This matter is still under investigation.
There were also three traffic reports and one false 911 call.
WILKIE REPORT

RCMP received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.

Police received a report of a loose dog. Members spoke with the owner of the animal and issued a verbal warning.

Members are investigating a complaint of a break and enter at a Wilkie business.

RCMP receives a report of a horse in Wilkie Regional Park. The animal was returned to the owner.

The police received a report of a person entering a courtyard of a residence. This matter is still under investigation.

RCMP received a report of a stray cat biting a child. Members patrolled but were unable to locate the animal.

Members received an administration report of harmful things, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Police received a report of suspicious individuals walking along Wilkie Street. Members patrolled but were unable to locate the subjects of the complaint.

The RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members discussed the subject of the complaint.

Members received a report of a stolen truck. The vehicle was recovered in Landis. This matter is still under investigation.

The police received a report of theft, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 14 near Wilkie. There were no injuries. A traffic ticket was issued to a driver of the vehicle.

Members received a complaint of communications harassment, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

CN Police reported a crossing malfunction in Scott. Reported for informational purposes.

Police received a trespassing complaint. This matter is still under investigation.

Members received a report of a lost wallet. Wallet not found.
There was also a false alarm.
MACKLIN REPORT
-
The RCMP received a report of an individual who damaged the door of a store. Insufficient evidence to continue.

Police received a report of a stolen backhoe. This matter is still under investigation.

RCMP received a report of fuel theft from a local gas station. The individual paid for the fuel. No charges were filed.

Members received a complaint of a two vehicle collision near Macklin. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.
There was also a fake 911 call.
