Need to install utility lines, Vermeer’s new RTX1250 tractor was built with you in mind.
It can run a variety of attachments in front of and behind the machine for the installation of gas, fiber, water and electrical services.
At the rear, you can run center-mount offset trenchers and skids, rock wheels or a vibratory plow.
For the front end, operators can add a 5,000-pound reel carrier to work with a vibratory plow for long utility runs. A backhoe and a backfill blade are also available as attachments.
Attachments can be changed within an hour, according to the company.
The RTX1250 is powered by a 127 horsepower Deutz engine. According to Vermeer, the tractor is made to traverse difficult terrain, with new improved tracks and an axle design. Rubber tires are also available.
It can run front and rear attachments, comes with tracks or tires and an optional air-conditioned cab.Vermeer
- Tracksense electric control system: reacts in seconds to avoid stalling the engine in difficult terrain conditions. Operators no longer have to return the controls to neutral and reset them.
- EcoIdle Engine Control System: Helps save fuel by automatically idling the engine after 30 seconds of inactivity.
- Productivity zone – automatically determines the optimal operating range and travel speed for attachments.
- Auto Dive: Controls dive speed for trenchers and rock wheels based on engine rpm.
- Automatic Rockwheel Stabilizer: Maintains constant Rockwheel cutting pressure.

Available Vermeer Telematics allows machine monitoring, including engine hours, idle time, fuel usage, fault codes and machine location. It also has geofencing capabilities.
