INDIANAPOLIS, IN / ACCESSWIRE / October 5, 2023 / Wastewater and Wastewater Transportation, Treatment and Equipment Show (WWETT)the largest and most immersive showcase of innovations within the wastewater industry returns to the Indiana Convention Center from January 24 to 27bringing together cutting-edge experts, technologies and services for three days of exploration and networking, providing unparalleled access to thousands of wastewater and environmental services industry professionals.

WWETT provides current resources and technologies for the growing wastewater industry, now a size of 295 billion dollars. With more than 500 leading suppliers in 20 different industries from more than 40 countries, WWETT brings together 12,000 attendees to exhibit, network and learn about categories such as absorption materials, dewatering equipment, erosion control and inspection.

Four-time Super Bowl champion and Vietnam veteran Rocky Bleier will open the showcase with a keynote conversation, talking about perseverance, hard work and self-belief.

The accredited education program is packed with comprehensive sessions on topics that span multiple industries. Sessions include expert-led talks on a range of topics from data protection and organizational structure to safe handling of fats, oils and grease, sewer cleaning and drainage and more to provide attendees with current trends and solutions to the highlighted challenges. WWETT offers educational tracks presented by state departments of education and certification boards, with many sessions counting toward fulfilling required continuing education units (CEUs) and Professional development hours (PDH).

In a session entitled Trade associations of the waste water industry, four industry-leading associations, the National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO), the National Association of Wastewater Technicians (NAWT), the National Wastewater Recycling Association (NOWRA) and the Portable Sanitation Association International (PSAI) discuss how industry leaders are helping the environment, the community and business. Topics of conversation include advocacy, raising standards, education and challenges facing the workforce.

WWETT Talks Live features focused insights from the industry’s most innovative presidents, founders and executives in conversations about trend adoption, community impact and steps to becoming a multidimensional operation. WWETT Talks Live speakers provide a thorough understanding of both wastewater and general business-related topics such as leadership in business structures and community impact.

The National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association returns for its coveted backhoe pit championship competition. Top participants will compete to use a backhoe bucket to move around a course in a race against time, giving backhoe operators the chance to compete for a cash prize. The competition will last for the three days of the WWETT exhibition.
