The Embassy of Japan in the Philippines hosted an Official Development Assistance (ODA) tour from March 4 to 6, inviting members of the media to delve into the transformative initiatives taking place in Mindanao. During the three-day tour, the Embassy highlighted projects between Japan and the Philippines, aimed at fostering collaboration and development in Mindanao.
The trip began with a visit to the Cotabato Project Office of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), giving the delegation an overview of the Capacity Development Project for the Bangsamoro (CDPB). Adventure at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (BARMM-MAFAR) in Brgy. Nuling, Sultan Kudarat witnessed the field training of the Smallholder Horticulture Promotion and Empowerment (SHEP) approach, a vital component of the CDPB.
