Officials have done it recovered the body of a fourth worker at the site of the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge near Baltimore, according to a statement.

Crews found the dead victim trapped inside a construction vehicle on Sunday, and the victim was positively identified on Monday. The victim’s identity has not been released at the request of the family.

“As we mourn the lives lost and continue the recovery operation, we recognize that every missing individual is someone’s loved friend or family member,” said Col. Roland L. Butler Jr., Superintendent of the State Police Department of Maryland, “With all of our allied law enforcement partners, we are committed to exhausting the physical and technical aspects of their training while deploying every possible available resource.”

A total of eight construction workers fell into the Patapsco River on March 26 when the span bridge collapsed at 1:30 am. Two were quickly rescued, but the remaining six were presumed dead after searches in the days following the sinking failed to locate them in the wreckage.

Authorities then recovered the bodies of three victims in the following weeks. These victims have been identified as Maynor Yassir Suazo Sandoval, 38; Dorlian Ronial Cabrera Castle, 26; and Alexandre “Alex” Hernández Fuentes, 35.

Workers still missing or unidentified include:

  • Carlos Hernández, 24.
  • Jose Mynor López, 30 years old.
  • Miguel Luna, 49.
