In honor of Sundt Foundation On the 25th anniversary, three Sundt Construction employees and owners competed to see who could raise the most money to help fight breast cancer. Together, and with a dollar-for-dollar match from Sundt, Scott “Sketti” LaPoint, Melissa “Machine Gun” Moreno, and Danny “Bubba” Gumm collectively contributed more than $319,000 through the “Ink It & Pink It ” of the contractor.
The original plan was for the “loser” to get a Sundt tattoo and have his hair or beard dyed pink for the cause. But in the end, all three competitors chose to get “tinted and pink” during a live reveal at the contractor’s headquarters in Tempe, Arizona on October 10.

LaPoint, Moreno and Gumm received Sundt-themed tattoos, just like the one proudly worn by the firm’s CEO, Mike Hoover. All three also had their hair dyed pink, with LaPoint and Gumm opting for matching pink beards.
“It really showcases Sundt’s unique and tough culture, all for a great cause,” says Stefanie Teller, Sundt’s Director of Communications. The contractor’s motto is “Skill. scream Purpose.”
Funds will be distributed to local non-profit organizations within Sundt’s 12 donor communities to support those battling breast cancer. Company themed tattoos were donated by Reinkarnate Tattoo of Apache Junction, Ariz.
