Enr West has chosen San Diego County as owner of 2025 of the year.
The county has main maintenance and maintenance programs with about $ 600 million on active capital projects ranging from libraries to a historic renewal and $ 400 million in major maintenance projects focused on repairs and modernizations of public and health and human services.
Of the recent projects, none is not more notable than $ 63.5 million, 5,000 square meters of the Southeast Live Center, which was named the best of the best project of the year of Enr. The Net-Zero-Energy Social Services Center impressed the judges with their emphasis on the representation of the stakeholders.
Currently, San Diego County is also completing work in the public health laboratory of $ 93 million, 52,000 square meters. The installation of two floors will greatly expand the county’s ability to try infectious diseases, supervise food and water safety, and try dangerous pathogens. This project is presented with a consolidation of the County Operations Campus, which involves moving 20 departments and reducing footprints to coincide with the new teleworking practices.
The sustainability and commitment of the stakeholders are reflected in numerous ongoing projects and plans for the county. The clear direction of the county to contractors and co -operation through the project team helped to make efforts a success.
